A collection of documents with the signatures of leading naval figures comprising autograph letters signed by: Sir Hyde PARKER (to Lord Keith, 19 July 1797, congratulating him on his good fortune), Sir John Thomas Duckworth (to his future second wife, Susannah Buller, 9 February 1808, with a letter from her to him), Sir John Borlase Warren (to Lord Keith, 12 May 1815, regarding the remnant of a large box of medals sent to him in 1802 by Lord Elgin on behalf of the Turkish government) and Sir Harry Burrard Neale (1827);
and documents signed by Samuel, 1st Viscount HOOD (21 February 1792), George, Lord KEITH (as C-in-C in the Mediterranean, 20 June 1800, directing the removal of all sick and wounded to the hospital at Mahon), Sir Samuel Hood (as C-in-C in the East Indies, 20 April 1814), James, Lord Gambier (24 October 1798) and Samuel Barrington (23 July 1777);
each accompanied by a large portrait engraving; additional engravings of Viscount Keppel, Lord Barham, Lord Graves, Sir Thomas Troubridge and Lord Radstock.
