A fragment of plaid, 39 x 9mm, inside a mourning envelope inscribed in pencil, 'a piece Prince Charlie's plaid', within a larger envelope addressed to Lady Bailey, Brighton, postmarked [18]67, with penny red, inscribed 'a piece of Prince Charles' plaid'.
