Lot Essay

The Musy family are descendant from a long line of Turinese jewellers and watchmakers. Giacomo Musy opened a workshop in 1707 and was appointed a Savoia court jeweller by Ludovico Vittorio, Prince Carignano, (1721-1778) in 1765. The firm is still in existence.
