TWO ITALIAN BONBONNIERÉS FROM THE ROYAL WEDDING OF PRINCESS GIOVANNA ELISABETTA DI SAVOIA, (1907-2000) AND BORIS III, KING OF BULGARIA, (1894-1943)

Each tapering oval, the detachable stepped covers with a scroll finial and engraved facsimilie signatures, engraved underneath 'Assisi XXV-X-MCMXXX' within Savoia knots, marked underneath, one contained in a fitted case and with original contents
3 in. (7.6 cm.) long
The engraved signatures are those of Princess Giovanna Elisabetta di Savoia, (1907-2000) the third daughter of Vittorio Emanuele III, King of Italy, (1869-1947) and Boris III, King of Bulgaria, (1894-1943) who were married at Assisi on the 25 October, 1930. (2)
