4 vols. 2°. Engraved title pages printed in red and black with arms of Pope Innocent XI, 3 folding plates of S. Peter's Church, engraved plates, text on double column, woodcut decoration (occasional browning, lower margin of title-pages trimmed.) Contemporary vellum. Provenance: Stamp of the Castellani Fanoni Collection.

An important, much enlarged work on the history of the Roman Catholic Church, first printed in Rome in 1630 in 2 volumes. The plates depicts portraits and arms of Pontiffs and Cardinals as well as coins and medals. Brunet II,1. (4)
