De forme circulaire, ornées au centre d'un grand dragon à cinq griffes, son corps noueux, couvert d'écailles, évoluant parmi les nuages et pourchassant la perle sacrée, la gueule ouverte et menaçante, l'aile agrémentée sur le revers de deux dragons poursuivant également chacun une perle, marque à six caractères de l'Empereur Yongzheng en bleu sous couverte à la base

Such pair of green-glazed 'dragon' dishes are quite rare. Compare the current lot with an identical dish from the Palace Museum, Taipei and illustrated in Catalog of the Special Exhibition of K'ang-Hsi, Yung-Cheng and Ch'ien-Lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch'ing Dynasty in The National Palace Museum, Taipei 1986, pl.43.
