Through his works, Redy has shown that art does not always represent complicated subjects; an artist can instil ordinary objects and scenes with new significance, even those daily concerns that have become so commonplace we have ceased to notice them. In this present lot, a small stick-like figure is struggling to hold up his end of the pyramid, but we get the feeling that he can still push a little 'higher' with his last bit of strength.
