Mark of H.A. de Meijer, The Hague, 1824, also retailer's mark in full M MEYER
Each oblong, low domed bases, reeded rims, the teapot with wood handle, the detachable cover with lion finial, the milk-jug with reeded handle, the sugar-bowl with two lion ring handles, the reverse inscribed: 'M Boudewijn Donker Curtius Geb 4 April 1746 & Cornelia Hendrica Strachan Geb 4 Feb 1755 Vijftigjarige Huwelijks Vereeniging 13 July 1824', marked on bodies and cover
