The first with mark of Johan Georg Meijer Sr., Amsterdam, 1851, also struck with assayer'a mark of Jan Berend Schone Jr. and retailer's mark of Bennewitz, the second mark of Pieter Pieterse, Amsterdam, 1855, also struck with retailer's mark of Bonebakker and Zoon, the third mark of Hermanus van Assen, wed. H. van Assen, Leeuwarden, 1852
Each oblong shaped, the bodies and detachable covers differently engraved with flowers, scrolls and scrolling foliage, two with wood handle and one with bone handle, marked on bodies, bases and covers
