The rectangular wood case with hinged cover revealing a compass with paper dial, five various snuff-boxes of ivory, Japanese bronze and lacquer, gilt metal frame with miniatures of Napoleon, his second wife and son, a folding spoon with engraved iron handle, a reeded tobacco-box of oblong form, seven various small objects and two Russian style cups
