On four silver-plated pelican feet, the openwork gilt and patinated bronze base in chinese taste supporting a trumpet-shaped nielloed copper vase decorated all over with stylised flowers and foliage in various panels and bands, two gilt, silvered and patinated bronze openwork ring handles, gilt bronze liner, inscribed in full and numbered 799702 and 799704 on footrim and under base
