Maker's mark indistinct, Copenhagen, 1876
Horn-shaped cup supported by two snakes with their tails entwining a trunk, the cup engraved with medieval dressed figures, one holding an arrow, the other a falcon and in the centre a lady with a bowl of fruit, inscribed with a Danish text, gilt interior, the detachable cover with standing warrior holding a shield and spear, marked on body and inside cover
