Hexafoil and with screw off cover with hinged ring handle, the sides engraved with panels of scrolling acanthus leaves, three panels enclosing an oval cartouche with the figures of a lady next to a fallen tree, a resting gentleman and his dog and a court jester washing his hands, gilt interior fitted with another parcel-gilt cylindrical inside cover with an oval handle, marked on base
