With the elaborate crested coat-of-arms of Daniel van Alckmade, above a banderole inscribed daniel van alckmade 1707, surrounded by the inscription de starre ligte van de hemel op der aerden de spooren vande man verweckt de loop der paerden 1707 (the stars from heaven shine on the traces of the man caused by the galloping horses), the border with a band of scrolling foliage (restored rim chips)
