17TH CENTURY, SYRIA
One border tile painted in blue, turquoise and brown, outlined in black, with the Çintamani pattern of tiger stripes alternating dots (chipping to the edges), 12.5 x 27 cm., one in hues of blue with a central arabesque flanked by trailing bunches of grapes and two cypresses, (restored to the edges), 22.5 x 23 cm.
