Probably modelled by A.C. Luplau, with a maiden with a blue summer hat, a green bodice and a skirt with Indianischen Blumen flanked by a gallant leaning towards her and with a chequered purple coat, a vest with small flowers, black culotte, white knee-socks and black buckled shoes, both seated on stools, on scrolled rocaille base encrusted with flowers, outlined in gilt (restored), the bowl painted with vegetables, the handles modelled as branches, the domed cover with rose bud finial (section of stem of the finial lacking), 20 cm. wide
