Each modelled with a sphinx, one supporting a female figure, the other a male figure, on a pierced foliate base issuing scrolling branches entwined with flower-sprays, the figures marked underneath with crossed swords for Meissen and one numbered 69 and 1252 the other numbered 72 and 1258
