The case of typical form, the dial signed Robert Goter/Newburry, brass Roman chapterring, possibly later steel hand, central foliate engraved fret, the going and strike train with chain and spikes, verge escapement with backswinging pendulum (adapted), countwheel strike on bell above; lead weight and later wall bracket
