Associated with Rosalba's portrait of the celebrated Venetian beauty, described by Dr Sani as 'celebre a Venezia per bellezza, cultura e per la vita al di fuori dai canoni di comportamento delle nobili veneziane dell'epoca', now in the Gemäldegalerie, Dresden (B. Sani, Rosalba Carriera, Turin, 1988, no. 343, pl. 301).
