An early 19th century pendant watch
Designed as a miniature lyre, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, the keywind verge movement with triple arm balance wheel and fusee, signed Alex'e Monnier, repeated on the dial gold case engraved and decorated with red and brown champlevé enamel, the reverse with string and fret detail against a brown enamel ground with twin green enamel palms within half-pearl surround, on a later lapis lazuli plynth/seal, circa 1810
