AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY DUTCH SILVER TEAPOT,
MAKER'S MARK UNTRACED, AMSTERDAM, 1728,
With beaded rat-tail to scroll handle which terminates in an escutcheon, the sides with matted, lobed panels below a band of scrolling flowers & acorns, the spout with faceted lower section, tucked-in foot with fluted edge, the lobed, domed cover secured to tops of spout & handle by means of a chain which attaches below the pine cone finial, 6 in. high (15 cm.), 9.75 oz.
