A LATE 17TH CENTURY DUTCH SILVER BRANDY BOWL,
MAKER'S MARK UNTRACED, LEEUWARDEN, 1695,
Shaped oval with lobed sides & tucked-in foot, the pierced handles each decorated with three tulips, on one side an engraved windmill scene with initials "HH" over "DI", the opposite side inscribed "Ter Gedagtenis Van:t Slatten Van de trek Vaart Van Harlingen na luwaard gedaan int Jaar 1732", 9 in. long (22.5 cm.), 6.5 oz.
