A RARE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE EXPORT SILVER SALVER,
BEARING PSEUDO ENGLISH HALLMARKS, (lion passant, crowned leopard's head, "C" & king's head), CANTON, CIRCA 1840,
Circular with ropework border & three ball feet, rim engraved with a continuous foliate band, centre chased with foliate scrollwork & diaperwork panels around a vacant reserve, 8¼ in. diameter (20.8 cm.).
