A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & CLOISONNE ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE,
MAKER'S MARK PROBABLY I.Ya.G, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890,
Decorated with flower-heads & scrolling foliage in red, white & 3 shades of blue within turquoise blue bead borders, 3 3/8 in. wide (8.6 cm.), ALSO a similar rectangular cigarette case by Gustav Klingert, circa 1890, maker's mark only apparently, same colours as preceeding item but with additional green enamel, l3½ in. long (19 cm.).
