A Japanese three-piece bronze inlaid garniture, 19th century
comprising two baluster vases with twin handles, decorated in copper, gilt and silver inlay with birds amongst peony and magnolia blossoms, a toad on a lotus leaf to the reverse, and a tripod koro and cover with twin looped beast-head handles and kirin finial, raised on mythical-beast supports upon a circular base, similarly inlaid with a lady and fan beneath a pine tree, and birds amongst cherry blossoms to the reverse side - 14in. (35.5cm.) high max. (3)
