decorated in lacquer on wood, each mask carved to express exagerated expressions, one with horse hair used for the beard; together with a photograph and a newspaper clipping from The Yorkshire Obs.., dated 21 June 1944 stating its provenance -- 8 1/4in. (21cm.) long maximum. (2)
