A large Chinese celadon glazed dish, 13th/14th century
with rounded sides rising to the flat everted rim, the centre carved with foliage encircled by a sectional key-fret band, the rim with a continuous petal-shaped carving, covered with a grey-green glaze except for a wide band within the countersunk base burnt orange -- 14 1/8in. (35.8cm.) diam.
