comprising a matched pair of baluster vases and covers, each painted with a seated scholar in a mountainous landscape between inverted lappets below the rim and stiff leaves above the foot -- max. 5 5/8in. (14.2cm.) high; two similar jarlets, painted with floral blossoms; a dish, painted with a qilin -- 7 5/16in. (18.5cm.) diam.; and a Chinese blue and white tea bowl, painted with floral roundels below a band with geometric pattern, 17th century. (6)
