Magritte writes to his friend and fellow Belgian painter, André Bosmans, on writing under pseudonyms, and drawing him a sketch of his idea for a painting -- a jumbled pile of houses. In his second letter, Magritte exclaims on the poetic '"L'Aile d'Etain"... un titre magnifique!', before relating his time with the cinematographer Luc de Heusch, who is making a film about Magritte and his paintings. He thanks his friend for sending him a collage 'qui communique un sentiment de mystère', and goes on to discuss the artform. (2)
