Autograph letter signed ('Prof. Hegel') to 'Herr Secretär', Berlin, 1 August 1827, notifying the recipient, so as not to 'abuse your kindness', that Herr H. Baer has already arranged tickets for Hegel and his wife for a performance on Friday ('Soeben ... geht Herr H. Baer von mir, und sagt mir, daß er ein Engagement wegen Billets für mich u. meine Frau auf Freytag bereits gemacht hat'), and hoping all the more that he will fulfil a promise to visit, one page, 8vo (remnant of guard).
