A Victorian gilt-brass eight day timepiece carriage clock
No. 4610. Mid 19th Century
The foliate cast and engraved case with acorn finials to corners, bevel-glazed side panels, plain rear door with sprung catch and set upon engine-turned feet, the silvered dial with floral engraved centre, painted Roman chapters and blued steel Breguet hands, set into a foliate engraved dial mask, the four pillar single chain and fusee movement with platform lever escapement with engraved balance cock and with diamond endstone to monometallic balance, regulation, wind and hand set to back plate numbered 4610
4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm.), handle down
