With revolving rings for minutes and hours, the time indicated via an engraved sunburst mask and blued steel pointer, silvered azimuth ring, the silvered meridian ring signed Charing Cross Geo,, Jamison LONDON, with the four cardinal points designated by brass mounts, the skeletonised movement with twin chain fusees, anchor escapement with horizontal escape wheel, rack strike on bell positioned to the underside, supported on a tripod stand with folding feet on ebonised base and under glass dome; pendulum, winding key
