The case applied with a plaque inscribed TARDA FLUIT PIGRIS VELOX OPERANTIBUS HORA, with aperture above for revolving pierced hour circlets, the detachable rear of the case with glass reflector (damages) and chimney for candle fitted in sconce above the movement, the latter with single chain fusee, anchor escapement and silk suspension, inscribed on the back plate CONSTRUCTIO DECANVS/JENNARUS P. ESPOSITVS/IN NEAPOLIS FECIT/A.D. MDCCCV (sic); pendulum
