The case with armillary finial and flanked by amorini emblematic of Nature and Science, the white enamel dial with pierced gilt-metal hands, blued steel sweep seconds, signed LE NEPVEU/A PARIS, glazed door below over further dial with repeat signature and inscribed TEMPUS FUGIT, its main disc centred by a rolling moon and Leap Year indication, its outer ring indicating sign in the zodiac, month with number of days and equation of time, flanked by subsidiary discs for day of week with its number and symbol and for date and number of week in the year, twin barrels with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell; with adaptations and additions; pendulum
