With pierced frets above glazed side panels, the rectangular brass dial now with added arch applied with strike/silent and regulation rings, matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and later signature reserve inscribed John Magson/Essex Street London, the associated five pillar movement with twin line and fusees, now with anchor escapement, strike on bell, formerly with pull repeat, the back plate engraved with birds and flowers; composite, case, dial and movement associated; pendulum, two winding keys
