The coffee-cup painted with figures in landscapes before Venetian palaces within quatrefoil black and gilt line panels with interlocking gilt scrollwork, diaper panels and flowers, the wishbone handle enriched in gilding, the saucer with a figure on horseback and a boy in a landscape with villages and hills within a similar cartouche, the interior of the cup and border of the saucer with a band of gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk (hairline crack to base of handle, slight rubbing to rims)
