Modelled by J.J. Kändler, of crescent form with angled ends, the stepped front moulded with a band of pendant tasselled lambrequins, the serpentine central part with a large gilt-edged and tasselled drape, the top painted in the Kakiemon palette with flowering prunus and bamboo issuing from bound grasses (areas of wear to gilding and surface, large crack to body and left angle, angles and upper part of drape with restored chips and areas, reverse partially ground, slight chipping to extremities and tassels, three with re-touching to gilding)
