Depicting a Roman soldier carrying a Sabine woman over his shoulder, and standing astride a Sabine man beneath him, some restorations, mounted on an alabaster sectional pedestal base, inset with a relief carved panel depicting the Rape of the Sabines, and on a further painted wood square section base
