Two Japanese wood netsuke, 19th Century
the first carved with two puppies, one clambering over the second recumbent pup; another depicting an octopus, with long tentacles climbing out of a collapsed and broken jar, signed; and a Japanese ivory seal, 19th Century, with a Buddhistic lion, one paw placed on a brocade ball standing on an oval base -- 1½in. (3.9cm.) high max. (3)
