A Japanese shakudo nanako fuchi-kashira, 19th Century
decorated in iroe-takazogan with a figure seated on a terrace in a fenced garden and further travelling figures with a banner under pine trees; a tsuba, of oval form with twin c-shaped indents, decorated in relief with a crab to the lower edge; a repousse decorated metal manju disk, depicting a figure by a well -- 2in. (5.2cm.) high max. (3)
