A Chinese celadon jade archaistic ewer, guang, early 20th Century
the flattened ewer carved in the form of a mythical beast supported on four lion feet, decorated with stylised phoenix scrolls reserved on a leiwen ground, the flared neck with stylised dragons flanking a roundel on each side, the handle carved in the form of C scrolls, the stone of celadon tone with white inclusions -- 8in. (20.3cm.) high.
