Three Chinese agate carvings, 19th and 20th century
the first in the form of a lady, standing with her head turned to the left, looking at a butterfly resting on the hem of her flowing robes swept by the wind, her arms raised holding a musical instrument -- 4 7/8in. (12.3cm.) high; the second, a figure of a lady seated on rockwork, her left arm raised adorning her coiffure with a lotus spray and her right arm holding a mirror; and the third, carved in the form of a recumbent mythical beast, all with wood stands.
