A pair of Chinese blue and white square panels, 19th century
each painted with a Buddhistic lion and two cubs playing with a brocade ball amidst fire and cloud scrolls -- 9 5/8in. (24.4cm.) wide, framed; and a pair of blue and white dishes, variously painted with a cat fish and crab encircled by four fish amidst water plants, the cavetto with lappet panels enclosing water weed below the rim painted with a blossoms amidst weeds, the undersides with floral sprigs above a moulded petal border, underglaze-blue four character Kangxi marks -- max. 12¼in. (31.1cm.) diam. (4)
