A Chinese 'Longquan' celadon glazed dish, 14th/15th century
with rounded shallow walls rising to the galleried rim, supported on a short tapering foot, the interior incised with vertical ribbing simulating floral lappets, covered with a deep olive-green glaze apart from the base with a wide ring burnt orange -- 13½in. (34.2cm.) diam.
