A Chinese famille rose octagonal dish, circa 1740
decorated with two deer before rockwork, floral and lingzhi sprays, encircled by a gilt interlocked border suspending a tassled double gourd amidst peony sprays, the rim with peony and hibiscus sprays -- 13¼in. (33.6cm.) diam.; a famille rose quatrelobed bowl, with four moulded shell supports, the centre decorated with a magpie perched on a peony and pomegranate spray above bamboo and peony growing amidst rockwork -- 11 7/16in. (29cm.) wide; and a famille rose teapot and cover, with floral sprays, spearhead and diaper bands, the cover with a peach finial, Qianlong. (3)
