PROBABLY SCOTTISH, CIRCA 1860
The silver mount stamped with thistles and foliage and with applied citrine top and three gem-set thistles, the horn body with applied shield-shaped cartouche, the grille simply pierced and engraved -- 2½ in. (6.2 cm.); and a six-draw monocular, the sides with applied gilt-metal floral decoration -- 3 5/8 in. (9 cm.) (2)
