ENGLISH, CIRCA 1740, INDISTINCT MAKER'S MARK ONLY
Oval and double lidded, one cover with engraved initials -- 1½ in. (3.8 cm.); a George III snuff box, the base, sides and cover engraved with wrigglework, Thomas Shaw, Birmingham 1797 -- 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.); and four further snuff and pill boxes, various dates and makers -- 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) and smaller (6)
