A handbuilt and finished 1:12th scale resin, alloy, steel and pewter work example of the No.26 car as driven by Ascari in the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix. This outrageous example comes with the revolutionary and lethal twin side mounted fuel sponsons and includes a fully opening 65 degree mounted engine. Set on solid rubber tires around acid etched spoked wheels with alloy spinners, the model also includes an acid etched front air intake aero screen and twin exhaust detail. Note the polished aluminium work carburettors, the colour coded electrics and the visible front and rear suspension set up. The cockpit includes an aluminium steering wheel trimmed in faux wood, inset dials and pewter work gear shift, (13 inches long).
