McLaren - The 1970 M8D Can-Am -CMA
This driver signed Laguna Seca winner as driven by the late Denny Hulme is in 1:20th scale and was the prototype model for the CMA limited edition hand built series of M8D models. The finely detailed model is personally signed on its aluminium underside by the driver, Denny Hulme, after having been shown to him for his approval of the series in 1990 which is when he autographed it. Note the removable rear body work to show off the extensively detailed engine, wires, hoses, lines, fitting machined parts and more. The car also sports a "post race finish" on top of the hand polished finish. The cockpit interior is fully replicated with gauges, switches, racing harness and aluminum floors & sills. Set to a custom made wood and acrylic display case, (approximately 9 inches long).
