A pair of Japanese gilt-lacquered Imari figures, Edo (1603-1868), late 17th early 18th century
comprising a gentleman holding a tanto against his body and a lady holding a parasol, both wearing long flowing brown coloured robes with gilt floral and geometric patterns over earth-red under-robes -- max. 23 7/8in. (60.6cm.) high. (2)
